Space the Final Frontier...

I was sick this weekend and Matt was keeping the boys entertained so I could rest. They were all building me something out of legos. Matt asked me what I would like. I asked for the USS Enterprise! And this is what I got! He's quite skilled, I was really impressed, I hope all my trekie friends and family get a kick out of this one like I did.

On an unrelated ( yet still geeky note) I found this on a shirt today! I laughed so hard! Who doesn't love admiral Akbar?

Dear Santa

WAY WAY WAY too cute to not post... Here is Jason's letter to Santa this year (In case you're wondering, I asked Santa if I could have it back once he made his deliveries). My favorite thing about it is how he asked for Ian's gifts too!

Spider Quilts

Okay... I have a really good excuse for not updating my blog this time - no Internet! But that's all fixed, (I really hope- there have been a number of false hopes) and we're hooked back back to the mother ship!

First, I have a NEW blog http://spiderquilts.blogspot.com/ It's all about my quilts. I noticed that the last few post have been nothing but quilts, and I've neglected to tell fun or interesting stuff about my family, also I feel like I have a lot more to say about my quilts and I don't write it down because I think people don't want to read it (so I'll give it it's own blog - yeah, I know it doesn't make sense, but welcome to my head).

The blog is currently under construction, but functional, I'll get some pictures up soon!

Sally's quilt

Here's Sally's quilt. I made it for her for Christmas (but I couldn't post pictures because I didn't want to spoil it).

Speaking of Christmas, all our pictures are still on our cameras. I think there were some really great ones, at this point I don't know if they'll be posted. We had a really wonderful Christmas! The boys are getting so big, I enjoyed watching their excitement for Christmas. As for my lazy blogging, I've been a slacker in part to having my cute husband around 24-7 (which really slows any type of productivity) and our Heroes obsession, in which we watched the entire series (70 episodes) in less than a week. Things are returning back to a more "normal" schedule, now that the kids (yes, that includes Matt) are back in school. We are excited for 2010, and hoping that it warms up soon! Matt is busy with his mistress (the laser) they are taking lots of good data. I am working on a new quilt that I'm loving, and I don't think that I will be able to give away - all for me- hahahah! I'm also excited about some babysitting I'm doing this month (its good to feel productive, and not like a lazy slug). I hope all my readers (I'm impressed that you're still reading) had a great Christmas and an even better 2010.
