Ianosaurus

Isn't he the cutest little paleontologist you've ever seen! In case you're not familiar with the dinosaurs here is their order... Anatosaurs, Coelophysis, Tyrannosaurus Rex, Styracosaurus, and Dimetrodon. He has 3 of these Pop-up Dinosaurs books and he calls them his "Special Books." He knows all the dinosaurs, and believe me, they are not the easiest things to say!

Old MacDonald's Farm

Ian and I went to Old MacDonald's Farm today with our playgroup. I had never really wanted to go because in theory farm animal are nasty, filthily, and poo covered things, but in reality, I am sucker for all types of animals, sure I probably have salmonella now, but hey, we had so much fun. I kept telling all the animals how delicious they were. Ian and I even had meatball sandwiches that I made from ground turkey, and the turkeys still followed us around. Some of the highlights were the very tame deer, the pony rides, and the eieio train depot (it's funny because it rhymes)! We picked out pumpkins, played on the playgrounds and looked at all the animals. Ian was terrified of the rabbits! I guess he has been watching Monty Python and the Holy Grail behind my back. Oh, and I'd like to thank the good people at "Purell" and "Wet Ones" for their continuing effort in germ fighting.

Yummy Deer!My friend Lucy and I with some deer (you can see my black nail polish... cool)!
Ian was a little afraid the first ride. He got over it!
3 Turkeys!

Pumpkin Patch!I touched an Emu!

Sly Smile (he was so excited to ride)

Pony Rides!

Ride-um Cowboy!

Yikes long post... sorry!

Baseball

It's a good thing their cute, because they aren't any good! Here are my funny boys playing baseball. You know you're not very good when you're playing with a ball bigger then your head and you still miss. Jason closed his eyes half the time, and judging by the pictures has the wrong foot up and his body is angled the wrong way. Ian got the stance down, but I think he wanted to kill the ball not just hit it. I was surprised at the rage he had. I probably pitched 100 balls and Jason hit 1 of them, Ian hit none. Oh, well looks like they're not going to be professional ball players. I better get them started on physics homework.

Fireman Hat

Hey Love, This post is for you! Here is the temp. "Man of the House" with his Fireman Hat. He came home with it from school with it today. Apparently the Drug dog game today, a yellow Lab named "Emmy", an officer hid drugs for her to find and she found them under the 5th cone. So don't ask me why he's wearing a fireman hat... I don't know, and I couldn't really get that info out of him. We miss you and the praying mantis below told me he was praying for you to do well today! Have a fun trip.

Praying Mantis

Check out this beauty I found on my car the other night. I have always been fond of praying mantis', I don't know if it's because they look so reverent or if it's because my Mom has always liked them, either way, it was nice to see this guy hanging around. Thanks for visiting Mr. Mantis.

Green With Envy

Right now I am dreaming of a vacation. Not because I need one, but because I am jealous that everyone around me seems to be taking them. I hope that everyone of you did have fun, are having fun, or will have fun. To my parents, and sister and Matt S. Don't freeze your buns off in Denver! To Cara, and Carrie, I hope you didn't get some strange out of the country diseases on your exotic trips. And to my sweet husband, I hope your plane doesn't crash over the Wasatch Range!

Maybe I'll go shopping, does going to "Old Town Spring" count as a trip?

Like Father... Like Son

Aunt Julie posted a bunch of old pictures on her blog, I was drawn to this picture of Matt! Look Familiar? I wonder if that is where Ian got his grumpy attitude... at least Ian has a better sense of fashion then his father.
