Bubble Wrap, Heroes, & Spiders.
Here is my Pop Star!
He is covering his ears while stepping on big bubble wrap, such an Ian thing to do!
My Heroes - Guitar heroes that is!
Jason was so into it! He LOVES Livin' on a Prayer!
Spiders!
Kelly made me a spider ring! Isn't it awesome, she spent a whole bunch of time on it. You know I love it! I think the checker at Target wanted one she kept staring at it, or maybe she just thought I was crazy:)
Speaking of Spiders I also have a Spider Hat- Thanks Jackie (Don't I have fun friends), you can check out Kelly's blog for a picture of me in it, or look at my facebook pictures, let's just say, I am awesome (or crazy).

What's Your Dream?
Yesterday at school Jason learned all about Martin Luther King Jr. They talked his dream and then asked the children to write their dream for the world. Jasons' was so sweet I had to share it. Here is what his dream is: "So Everybody could not hit."
On another note, he was really excited about our new President Barack Obama (I think he just likes saying the name, because he mentioned it all afternoon) He also told me he thinks President Bush is funny, because he's made of bushes! There was a bit of confusion on who was shot... it took me a while to realize that going over the new president and MLK in one day could be a little confusing for a kindergartner!

Keeping Busy With Crafts
I have been busy quilting for two of my friends that are due to have babies any day now, and I couldn't put the pictures up until their showers. The blue quilt with the roman squares is for my friend Shelley's baby and the smaller quilt is for her daughter who is one of my favorite little friends (so she can use it on her dolls). The cupcakes and the pink quilt were for Kelli. We had a fairy themed baby shower. The cupcakes turned out cute in the end... but for a while they looked like a dog ate a fairy and pooped it out (apparently wings do not digest well). I decided I needed to change the consistency of the frosting and I used a different tip... they looked much better (and they didn't taste like dog poo).

Christmas Card Picture
There have been requests that I put our Christmas Card picture on the blog... so here you go! In case you were wondering why we are so cool... (no that's not what I meant to say) The reason behind our non traditional picture was due to the family turmoil that is caused when a group photo is taken. We figured if we were doing something that we all enjoyed while taking a picture it would turn out better... and lo and behold our best family picture ever! I hope you all enjoy. And have a Rockn' day.

Gah... Just too cute!
I know, you're all sick of me posting so many pictures of my kids, and I know you all hate me because of the fun things we are doing during the break, and I also know that you all hate me even more because of the beautiful weather we have had, sorry, my kids are just too cute, so here are more pictures. Oops, that was a bit of a run on sentence, get over that too!
We went to the Arboretum yesterday, it was so pretty, even though it was December 31st. The Azaleas were blooming! Crazy, anyway, Matt and I held hands and the boys went crazy running back and forth. Matt and I celebrated our 10 year sealing anniversary yesterday, and I didn't have it in me to go to the parties or even have someone watch the boys so we could go celebrate (thanks for offering Kelli) it was really nice just spending some down time with the family. After all, isn't that what getting sealed is all about, family! So the Cannon's didn't set new years eve off with a bang (yes, pun intended) but more like a renewal of the joys of family and nature, and joy in what you have. So, it's good to see you 2009, I look forward to another year with my family!
